We see David giving thanks to the Lord in today’s passage. David gives thanks to the Lord for His steadfast love and faithfulness. He desires for others to give thanks to the Lord, and He has full confidence in the Lord because he knows that the Lord preserves him and will fulfill His purpose for him. I pray that we would be a congregation that is always giving thanks to the Lord. Let us be a church that praises our faithful God and is thankful for His steadfast love that endures forever. Let us seek to be gratefully confident in the Lord, knowing that He is always with us and will fulfill His purpose for us.

A. All mankind by their fall lost communion with God, are under his wrath and curse, and so made liable to all miseries in this life, to death itself, and to the pains of hell forever.
