We are looking at the genealogy of Jesus Christ today. Many people may gloss over genealogies, thinking that they are not very important, but we know that the genealogy of Christ is very important. We see that Jesus is the promised Messiah, who is the son of Abraham and the son of David. We see the amazing grace of our Savior in this passage, and we know that Jesus came into the world to save sinners in need of a Savior. I pray that we would continue to be amazed by our Savior every day, and I pray that we woud be a congregation that continues to trust Him and worship Him, and find our rest in Him.

Q. 22. How did Christ, being the Son of God, become man?
A. Christ, the Son of God, became man, by taking to himself a true body and a reasonable soul, being conceived by the power of the Holy Ghost in the womb of the virgin Mary, and born of her, yet without sin.
