In today’s passage, Jesus shares two parables about the kingdom of heaven. We are reminded about how amazing and precious the kingdom of heaven is. I pray that we would be a congregation that is daily amazed by the gospel, and I pray that we would truly treasure Christ. I pray that we would joyfully offer our lives to Him, as we say with the Apostle Paul, “Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ” (Philippians 3:8).
